What I find special about The Bakehouse is that it’s women-owned. The bakery offers a mouthwatering menu of hearty breakfasts, yummy sandwiches, comforting soups, and fresh-baked pastries that make your heart sing. 

Their Full Irish Breakfast is a feast that includes everything you’d expect: succulent sausages, crispy bacon, eggs just how you like them, black and white pudding, and this amazing house-made soda bread that’s honestly what dreams are made of.

And here’s the kicker: it’s available all day long! Seriously, for just €6.95, you get this hearty meal. These cute little alcoves allow you to join in on the lively chatter or find a quiet nook to sip your drink and unwind.

Gallagher’s Boxty House is located in the heart of Temple Bar. What caught my attention was the amazing boxty dish. It’s a potato pancake, but Gallagher’s takes it to a new level!

The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with these charming mismatched tables and lovely Victorian stained-glass lamps. It’s snug in there, which gives it a lively vibe, especially during the busy hours. 

Now, let’s talk about the Irish breakfast, which. It is everything you’d expect: perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, and both black and white pudding. The boxty pancake they serve alongside is light but hearty, giving the experience a delightful twist. 

4. The Woollen Mills

The Woollen Mills is a wonderful dining place right by the Ha’penny Bridge. It has such a sweet history—it has been part of the city for over a century! What I love about this place is that it truly celebrates Irish produce. 

The menu is a lovely blend of traditional Irish dishes and modern flavors. The rustic wooden tables, the open kitchen, where you can peek at the chefs in action, and the huge windows letting in all that lovely natural light make it feel special. 

For the Irish Breakfast, you’ve got fried eggs, black pudding, some seriously tasty Pigs on the Green bacon, sausage, hash browns, and perfectly toasted sourdough. But what stands out is the quality of the ingredients—they source everything locally.

5. Flanagan’s Restaurant

The talented executive chef Ed Cooney creates the menu, and he knows how to modernize traditional Irish cuisine. They serve breakfast all day, and trust me, their breakfast spread is something special! 

There’s a buffet that kicks off with homemade bread and pastries. You can even order a variety of hot dishes made just for you. The cooked breakfast selection starts at €24.50, but it’s worth it for what you get.
