Moving on, here are our top choices of the best doctors you can get in Dublin!
1. Dr. Liam Regan, Nassau Clinic Weekend Doctor

Qualifications | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Scope of services | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Accessibility | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Affordability | ★★★☆☆ (3/5) |
There are so many reasons why we think Dr. Liam Regan of Nassau Clinic Weekend Doctor deserves a spot here.
He’s one of the very few GPs in Dublin who operates on weekends until evenings—hence the name “Weekend Doctor.” Basically, he provides urgent out-of-hour medical care when your usual GP isn’t available.
In other words, Dr. Regan isn’t here to replace the relationship you have with your existing GP. Continuity of care will still be provided by your current GP, if needed.
Dr. Regan’s private practice offers a full range of GP services including primary care, sexual health screenings, and immunisation. It seems like he’s also a popular choice for patients with COVID-19 symptoms, seeing that his clinic also offers free testing services.
In that case, you have the option to book a phone or video consultation. Otherwise, you can also see him for a face-to-face consultation.
Sadly, he doesn’t treat children below 6 years old. He also doesn’t accept medical cards or GP visit cards for adults, which means that you’ll have to pay for services out of your own pocket.
His consultation fees aren’t exactly the most affordable ones in Dublin either. But for the convenience and accessibility of the services he offers, we think it’s still very reasonable.
Pros
- Wide range of services
- Open daily until evenings
- Teleconsultations available
- Quick service and response times
- Central location
Cons
- Relatively expensive
- Doesn’t treat children below 6 years old
- Doesn’t accept medical cards/GP visit cards
