We like their diverse range of options. Their eyewear includes options for all age groups and, on top of that, options for lenses such as anti–reflection, scratch resistant and tinted coating.
Optometrists are there to guide you through all the services, which include eye examinations, driving tests, dry eye assessment and corporate eyecare. The customer service is excellent with anyone from the team responding in a helpful and friendly manner.
They also have an in-store lab with up-to-date equipment which speeds up the process for customizing eyeglasses. For most of their stock, this means that they are able to offer same day services.
This whole process is rounded out by their team’s consideration of any final adjustments needed once you collect your eyewear. We are impressed by how complete and engaged they are with the whole process, even going a step beyond the last.
The store does offer online delivery for some products on their site but we find the selection limiting. The price range for the glasses, specifically, is €130 to €150 and we wish there was a bit more variety.

I never write reviews, but my experience at vision 2 opticians was so smooth and pleasant that I felt compelled to write an excellent review. I phoned them at 11am for an appointment that I needed for that day for an eye test, and without a bother they booked me in for a 12 o’clock appointment. I had tried elsewhere and the service was nowhere near as customer friendly. They were absolutely amazing, Orlaith, the optician, was so kind and was very efficient. One unique service that they offer is remote consultation, which brings the service right to the customer’s own computer anytime they please. It’s great because even before heading to the store, the person can have a clearer idea of what eyewear or assessment they need.
Eyeglass offerings are also in no short supply with prices ranging from €19 to €239. We were very satisfied with the amount of styles they had, even additionally their own in-house brand, all of which can be delivered through online purchase.
Specsavers’ availability of bundles and sale offerings (like 2-for-1deals) make it even more attractive. Eye tests can sometimes be offered with a pair of glasses at a discounted price, making the purchasing process smoother.
Another service that attests to this smooth purchase offerings, is how customers can reorder their previously bought lenses. This is a fantastic service that is quite convenient for clients who need a backup or quick replacement for their lenses.

Though comparably not a large store, Delaney Opticians is a delightful choice that can offer you your eyewear essentials as well as some unique products.

Hartmann Opticians are the perfect fix for those looking for in-depth eye services alongside a premium offering of eyewear.
What’s great about their services is that most general eye examinations last around 30 minutes. But this does not mean that they are limited on what they test for.
They use a digital retinal camera which allows them to see the smallest abnormalities, then guide you on to the next appropriate steps.
We were impressed by their unique service of a VDU examination, which not a lot of opticians offer. This VDU examination specifically examines the stress your eyes take with regards to prolonged staring at a computer screen.
We all know how it is easy to fall into lifestyles and work habits involving computer screens, so this service feels both unique yet necessary at the same time.
Another unique service they offer are Red Eye assessments which they can prescribe ointments and eye drops for. This test usually even takes less than 30 minutes making for an efficient yet effective customer experience.
In terms of their range of eyewear, although the company has a variety of stylish options, most of these are from the upper designer brands making the prices not the most affordable. They also do not offer any online purchasing of these products.
